Pentarq are currently providing Architectural and Quantity Surveying services for this small scale project which will arrest the dilapidation of a fine surviving example of a traditional croft-dwellinghouse and outbuildings. Phase 1 of a sequence of phases will make the site safe, provide a parking space for vehicles and reinstate the roofs of the principal buildings. Phase 1 is planned to be an exemplary example of conservation and repair using traditional methods and materials. Eventually this building may become the focus for a history of farming in Westray.
