EDAY HERITAGE CENTRE
EDAY, ORKNEY
Work started in November 2006 to bring to life a derelict former Baptist Chapel on the island of Eday. Eday is one of the smaller northern islands of Orkney with a population of approx 130. The vision was to create a much needed Heritage and Visitor Centre to provide a central facility for tourists and locals alike. The Eday Heritage Centre Association are to be commended for their determination to see through the project and the finished result is testament to their belief and hard work.
Pentarq provided Architectural and Quantity Surveying services throughout and local Orkney based contractors, Casey Construction Ltd completed work on schedule in the summer of 2007.
