Architecture

A primary role of the architect is to interpret and understand the client's requirements and from this to develop a design particularly suited to them and to the site location. A preferred design solution will then be developed to provide construction information and, as required, the construction contract will be administered to final completion. A successful project, depending on complexity, can involve a variety of specialist professional skills, and the pivotal role of the architect in the design process has traditionally resulted in their recognition as design team leader, with a responsibility to co-ordinate these specialist skills into a successfully unified overall design.

An architect is skilled in this unique interpretation of an individual client's requirements, and the range of professional duties can be tailored to suit individual circumstances. This range of services can be viewed here.

Within Pentarq we have gathered an architectural team with a particularly wide range of skills. Our professional staff are experienced in all aspects of design, with extensive experience gained from within and well beyond our local area, and including major commercial, industrial, military, civic, retail, residential and restoration projects. From intensive fast-track design and construct projects, to high-profile cutting-edge design. Working professionally as a team, this wide range of skills within Pentarq, coupled with our local awareness and the sensitivity obtained from living here, gives us an enviable capability to tackle virtually any type of project throughout Caithness, Sutherland and Orkney in particular, and Northern Scotland generally.
